Have a hydramaster T/M which just devoloped a fault on the Venturi valve, which means that when using wand its not taking any of the mixed hydra-dri product into the solution, which means im flushing the carpet with just hot water , rather than hot water mixed with the product ,after prespraying,
Obviosly I need to get this fixed! Part on order.
In the meantime is it a problem to continue cleaning just with the hot water?
Have thought of putting some made up solution in main water tank and that would mix going through unit? Or does this cause a problem in machine generally?
Suggestions please. Thanks Simon

I rinse with either plain water which I have done for the last 4 months as I only use a detergent when I need to order some other chemicals from the supplier when it runs out I just plain water rinse until I need to order again.
When I do use F90 I premix it in my fresh water which passes through the machine & pump without a problem, I've never had a pump effected by detergent passing through it. I would make sure I used good quality chemical so it completely dissolves other wise it might clog your filters and internal plumbing
The only problem with this system is everything gets cleaned with the same solution so if you have a Suite to clean it gets the same rinse as a really soiled carpet

Same here, a good pre-spray and good prep and a hot soft water rinse has suited me for donkeys years.

Let's be honest though a good detergent will clean a living room in 10 minutes..........a pre-spray, scrub & dwell time and you are 30 minutes down
Use a detergent and You can blast through an empty 2 bed rental in 40 mins compared to 90 mins for a full scrub clean.

I'm talking "normal" cleaning not like that asterisk-hole in your video. 😜
