His website is not very good though but if you go onto the farcebook groups you will get an idea of what bespoke tanks and systems he makes http://www.aquaeouspf.co.uk/

I'm sure when others read this will be along to say they have used him too for their bespoke stuff.

Stephen doesn't make tanks anymore unless you're local or a friend.

I spoke to a mate of Stephens last week by chance, he told me Stephen has stopped making tanks for window cleaners because us lot are a pain in the ***!
Supposedly alot of guys were treating him like ionics, grippa etc , expecting aftercare and constantly contacting him asking questions not relating to the tank itself.
There was also accusations from a number of clients who had swapped his tanks from one van to another, had teething problems and expecting Stephen to resolve the issues. Of course he refused and it caused problems for him.

I can relate to that as most local cleaners I've met are a pain in the arse and don't know their arse from their elbow either. With an exception of my mate lance that knows a wee bit well sort of  ;D ;D

I sent him a few big jobs and I felt guilty hearing how the cleaner had treated him.

Basically expecting a bespoke tank done in 48 hrs.

That just about sums up the mentality of some dare I say idiots wanting bespoke items made like yesterday.

That's a real shame, he made my tank for me. I was more than happy to wait 2-3 weeks for it and was exactly to my spec and at a reasonable price.  :'(

He's a real gent and I have to say a real loss to the industry now.

When you hear of cleaners making him wait months for full payment. It's disgusting.

I chat to him pretty much weekly as I am hoping he will still make some of my ideas :)

Yeah, window cleaners are modded.

So, no one has used E.M.P.F Tanks then? And the alternative doesn't do it any more? Has anyone used anybody else for a custom tank?

A guy on here has used him a couple of times. From what he said he was happy.

Can't remember his forum name for the life of me.

😂😂😂

I've used Stephen for the last 3 systems. All twin, delivery  Only,  600ltrs. He also built me a 3400 ltr holding tank.

Great products with a couple of minor glitches which were soon resolved. It's a shame he no longer wants to make systems, as his were very Innovative.

I notice that he's listed as a manufacturer at the show on the 10th?

I believe Alex G used plasticwatertanks.co.uk when he used to sell custom made tanks on his website, and spoke highly of them.

They do only make the tank (to your specifications) though and do not fit systems.

Neil at EMPF provides an excellent service and I have used him many times for custom fabrications.

In the back my van I still use a hose reel drip tray he made for me about 10 years ago. I also have a custom made pole holder which he made, which bolts to the top of my fitted system.

These tanks really last. I had a custom tank made about 9 years ago for an estate car and it is now on its 4th owner and about its 6th vehicle.

Send him a drawing of what you want and he provides a quote within days and usually fabricates within 3 weeks.

I have always found him good value for what is a very bespoke service. He is also happy to arrange delivery.

Thanks. How are the baffles? I had a similar (looking) baffle system in my first tank and it lasted until the first time I had to brake hard.

I have found the baffles he makes very strong and effective. He makes a slot together system a bit like dividers on a cardboard box and then welds them in place, before assembling the top of the tank in place.

I've used EMPF,  Neil built me a custom tank last year. The tank is exactly how I wanted it and feels bomb-proof. It didn't take long to build and I would use him again if I needed another tank. A good fella to do business with.

Fantastic tanks I have 1 they are properly baffled there is no movement at all when full no sloshing whatsoever,if you want a leak free tank any shape you want use them. They are the same style as the New Ionic tanks with welded seams.
