Hi,
Just wondering on some windows you see like a rainbow pattern in the glass. Anybody know what this is?
Cheers,
 Steve

In the glass or between the glass? Moisture between the glass means that the window has 'blown' as the seal has broken down.

Sunlight, water droplets and your viewing angle of the sunlight reflecting on these droplets can cause a rainbow effect. Certain oils can do the same as can the residue of some window cleaning solutions sold for household cleaning use.

Most likely blown seals. Ones I like are hand prints on inside of glass from idiot who made the windows .

I did a place that must have cost several million.  It had a huge pane on one window, triangular with the sides probably about 12ft, 12ft and 18ft.  Between the panes were literally hundreds of greasy finger prints.  I'd done inside and out and the customer didn't believe they were between the panes until I put up a ladder and made her go up to look up close.  She went barmy.
