Title: Cleaning modern wood painted frames by hand - which product?

Just wondered if anyone had a favourite cleaning product for white painted wood frames - I did them last year with fairy and a soft cloth as they were nearly new - this time they are a lot worse, thanks to adjacent building work. Cif maybe?

Tasbasco and a slice of lime.
