as title says, this weather i sweat a lot , regardless.
Polo Shirts . I have gone through around 4 in the last 2 months because the sweat is making the polo shirts go a dirty looking whiteish where the sweat has soaked into the rear of the polo shirt.
had Logo on different polo shirts in last 2 months i dont know if its just the Primark crap or what.
I wear a vest but its still getting through to the polo shirt.
Ive looked around for some other type of vest which may be better to wear, to keep cooler, some type of climate controlled cycling or running veast.
any ideas

Could it be the cheap cotton polo shirts from Primark. dont mind paying for a better quality if it means i dont have to keep buying too many Polo shirts
-
Lose some weight. ;D
-
Safari suit.
-
Maybe take a shower or bath more often. ;D
Seriously to control yer core body temp it's natural to sweat so not much you can do about that whatever type of top you decide to wear.
-
Strangely I don't get too sweaty; not sure why because I'm deffo overweight by a couple of stones.
-
I have sweat dripping off me this time of year. Nothing you can do about.
I'm relatively healthy, slim and workout 4-5 times a week. I start the day with a super smoothie, strawberry, banana, spinach, coconut milk and protein powder, eat a decent lunch and drink only water whilst out working yet the sweat pours off me.
It's due to metabolism, iv always had a high metabolic rate, my body burns calories very quickly.

Mate im just like you. I laugh n call it acid sweat that i have and were not on our own if you google it.
But then im always warm even in winter i mostly wear polo tops as well. My wife thinks this weather is just ok but i melt in this.
To all the ones which say loose weight, haha you ignorant ##ts, lol. Sometimes its down go weight and sometimes its not. My case its not.
Sadly there isnt alot one can do about it, i carry facial type wipes with me n regularly wipe head, neck n shoulders best i can to help. Tried expensive polos and i still bleach em

Safari suit.
;D ;D ;D
My favourite item of day wear 40 years ago. Memories!
Shorts for work; a pair of Safari longs for smart wear and if it was a posh do then add a cravat. I didn't own a cravat. ;D

You want to try carpet cleaning in this weather.
-
its nothing to do with overweight. >:( >:(
im in the gym 5 nights a week. 2 nights boxing club., nothing to do with fitness or overweight, some people just sweat more than others, .
its ok when cool.
ill look around ;) ;) ;)
-
i cant even wear a cap, without my head sweating ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I'm the same , just wear a t shirt majority of the year but still too hot. I go to the gym as well but I too think it's metabolism, I do find wearing a cap actually helps a wee bit or hides it a bit so your head isn't dripping when talking to people. Also , I know they say black attracts the sun but darker colours also hide dirty marks better than lighter colours which I'd personally prefer than looking dirty

My son has a black shirt polo design, it's now brown around collar and top of arms where he wipes the sweat....
However the cotton tee shirts he wears have no such damage
Weird but there you go.
Suspect as other post this is a ph issue in the sweat.
The brown stains are almost like you get with bleach

I have sweated all my life.I have a poo and my t-shirts wet trough. I used to be mega fit up to the age 40. Always sweated. Drink loads of water.
I stopped smoking 6 years ago and am now 17 stone. (beer gut)
Nothing to do with fitness.
My sweat burns my pits in the summer but never had problems with cloths.
If you sweat from one area only.
you can have it lasered but it will come out in another place

I take my hanky off my head and run it under the customers tap this weather. My string vest seems to help too and my trackie bottoms have poppers up the sides to let more air in if that fails then I wear them off my arse with no underpants.

Maybe Lee could do an article in the window cleaning magazine on work wear and how cleaners cope with the heat in different countries like the States, Australia etc as it seems Brits are not use to working outdoors on the very few warm sunny days we get. ;D ;D

Does anyone actually subscribe to that mag.

It's free in digital format and yes I do read it.
-
i only sweat a lot on my back, maybe my vests are too thick, ill look to see if the normal vests are thinner than the beach type vests which i use atm. then the back of my polo shirt gets wet.
-
You still wear a vest under yer polo shirts in
hot warm weather. ???
No wonder you sweat so much ::)roll
-
I find that I get hotter in a polo shirt than T-shirts, When working, I wear polo shirts in the winter and light weight T-shirts in the summer,
-
Loose fitting lightweight cotton shirts is what I prefer to wear on warm sunny days and defo not a vest underneath it.
-

Indeed...be there, done that, got the wet t-shirt and pants too ;D ;D
-
dont worry autumn/winter is not far off and then you ll be moaning your hands are cold!
we dont get many hot working days in this country! just wear your normal polo shirts and shorts, plenty of factor 30 suncream and drink plenty of water and snack on fruit.
if its really hot, take a 5 min break here and there in the shade.
i have white polo shirts for really warm sunny days which keep me cooler than my normal black ones.
i dont seem to sweat that much when working as its easy with xtreme poles and (normally) working a 6 to 7 hour day.
-
Do you abuse yourself whilst at work? That usually works up a sweat.
-
i usually do that before i go to work. ;)
-
I normally take a five star holiday when it gets too warm.
-
been on 2 already, next one in sept.
