Hi all ,
Just picked up an awkward access job and think it'd be quicker with a backpack- has anyone got the gardiners backpack v3? what do you think? Any issues with it before I buy one?

That's what I was hoping for , how long on average does the battery last? is it as powerful as using your van mount?

Love mine.
I won it through a competition here over a year ago.
Battery lasts a full day, and power/flow rate can easily keep up with standard van mount pump.

I got mine a couple of months back, primarily to use on render cleans. Not got any yet ::)roll
But i have used it where parking next to the job at hand has been difficult. Used it quite alot recently and its still on its first full charged. I also borrowed it to a friend for him to practice on his own house to convince him to switch from trad to wfp. So its been well used, and not showing signs of needing a recharge yet (light indicators)
Its a great piece of kit and not overly noisy so wont upset the client either if out sunbathing

One is use EVERY day todo a full day's work. If we forget to charge it, it will still do the next day.
I use two in my van. One is used for chemicals. Lasts about 1-2 months before it needs charging. I use it for applying chemicals to roofs etc.

i used one once for a few weeks and it was very good im also hering good things about the ( cleaning werehouse) back pack

I only use it for the odd job and the battery appears to last forever in that regard. I work on a pretty high flow from the van and the backpack equals it easily.
If you're using it for odd jobs, only half fill it; makes a big difference to how easy it is to use (and half a tank gives you five minutes to do the back of a house).

get a 1" hole drilled in your tank & a 1" outlet hose & it fills in 20 seconds

I've also got one, had it a couple of years, used mainly to administer mix of virosol & water to Fascia cleans,
very pleased with it, the battery charge lasts for ages.

That is a good idea, but as il only use it for maybe 1 or 2 jobs a week , I'm thinking of filling it when I fill my tank up at night or in the morning ready to use 👍

Cheers vin , think il have to practice on my own house to see how much I go through , I suppose it'l feel like going back to the good old 25ltr barrels and trolley

You might be surprised at how many jobs are quicker by backpack,
I bet! I clean some massive houses and sometimes I think it takes longer to get the hose all the way round the back of the house than it does actually cleaning the windows

Mine leaks from the bottom, has done from about a month after purchase.
Still not sure where the leak is coming from, checked all connections etc, but if any water left in overnight then it completely empties in van.
As its not used often, only to apply chemicals for fsg, I just pour any left overs into a barrel.
Other then that, good bit of kit, as others have said battery lasts ages

Nope couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back when it's hardly used. It does it's job still so I'm happy.

Ok , so far so good then . Sounds like it's a good piece of kit

Batteries are good, build is a bit flimsy. Kettle socket comes lose after a while.
Good value for money.

Used it for the first time today- very impressed! managed to do a bungalow with 12 windows & doors ( 1 bay window) before it ran out.
Bit embarrassed at first as I put it on my back , bent over to pick my pole up and the water spilt out 😂😂😂

Yep, i found the lid not so great recently. Its not exactly a tight fit. Comes loose very easily
