Looking at skywand anyone use one or similar ???

Skywand ??? Oh you mean a dragonfly which is a very expensive microfiber pad on the end of a wfp and a pump on a belt ;D
Have a look at the gardiner offerings if you want to save a few quid

The gardiner ticks all the boxes plus I use there poles ( the best poles around I might add ) good call

When starting out I bought a Dragonfly simply because I hadn't a clue and in this game there are always people ready
and willing to empty your pockets when your in that position.
Will try and keep this short, these are all pad systems that use different ways of spraying a very small mist of water onto the dirty
glass which you then buff clean.
Now this would be a good thing if it was just a matter of extending the pole and cleaning away until the job was finished as you wouldn't have the need to lower the pole and spray more water onto the pad, but this is not the case as you have to replace the pads regularly.
Buy the Vikan Easy shine kit or similar and a connector for your Gardiner pole, its all you need and does the same job as these
overpriced nonsense kits.
Just spray a small amount of water onto the pad from a spray bottle before extending it to the glass and do the same when replacing the pad,
