Post by: jeff1 on May 23, 2006, 10:29:34 pm
Has anyone ever taken a reading of bottled water, what you buy of the shelf,

to see what the TDS is, against our filtered water ???

Thanks Paul

I was wondering about that as well, as i have the single filter one,
but the water does look a lot clearer with it, you would have thought it better than that, as a new filter costs me £20. ::) ::)

Its a single carbon filter from screwfix,

I have five more filters left, when I worked for them, (screwfix) I got in quike
and bought some returns that get sent to the shop, to be sold a bit cheaper, But I bought the Tap and fixings for £4.99, and a couple of weeks later in come the filters, they were marked up wrong, as they have a cheaper one for £9.99, and I bought six for £1.99, so you can stop coughing now.
Thing is I can still get my discount (not what you know but who you know) ;D ;D

Thing is paul, that when all the filters are gone,

I may as well bin it,if thats the readings of filtered tap water, even with discount, it will be like throwing money down the drain.

But I would still like to know readings from bottled water

Bottled water TDS reading will be anything from .50 ppm.
Don't forget they put minerals in it..they are good for you.
