Title: New websites
Post by: Mike Halliday on June 27, 2016, 07:34:32 pm
Had my websites updated onto a super fast frame and supposed to be super secure against hacking (which I've had done twice before)

Could someone do me a favour and check it out and click the 'what we have cleaned this week' tab at the top and tell me where it goes to, I have an app on my iPad which it activates but I want to know where it goes on another independent computer

Hi Mike

It goes to your Pinterest page (Henry Halliday), is this where you want it to go??  :)

Don't have the app on my iPad or a Pinterest account so it just shows a black bar creeping up trying to get me to login until it fills the whole page. If I was a potential customer I would have given up.

Mike that's where I want it to go

Dennis that's what I was worried about, people who don't use Pinterest won't see my page.... Might have to alter it

Can you set up  gallery page  or an optional Pinterest icon on the main menu?

It has a gallery further down the page I just wanted the Pinterest link as its one click to upload photos onto Pinterest straight from my iPad

You can send images straight to your site via your ipad too. The only draw back is adding a lot of big images over time, it'll take up a lot of bandwidth which will slow down your site depending on your hosting plan.

You can always get an Instagram account and add the pics on there. Everyone can see the images on Instagram even people without accounts (I THINK).

Mike

nice work my friend.

Are you going to get the customer to comment or like their jobs?

only problem I can see is that if you post a image on pinterest first google will always think it theirs and not yours so if you put it on your site it will be a copy of the pinterest image.  I think there is some kind of number in the image that identify it. The reason is that google only needs to store one and serve it up for all the copies.
