Is there a way to clean this or are we best off saying no...obviously its not ok HWE but wondered if theres a dry/drier clean way.
Its 84% viscose.

i would walk away, but thats just me................  why risk it??
ive done upholstery with fairly low viscose content without any issues but not  at 84%..

I did walk away Tim after cleaning their carpet but said id look into if there is an option.

Content really isn't the issue, its how its constructed and then carrying out the correct testing.

Flat weave viscose isn't a problem if you know what you're doing .

A velvet or 'pile' can be wet cleaned or DWD cleaned, again if you know what you are doing .,

Done many without issue but training is PARAMOUNT.

Lee is correct...
there are issues with cleaning Viscose fabrics...most can be cleaned if you understand their characteristics ...I have never walked away from one yet
With care you can achieve excellent results

In the 80's they were around every corner don't see that many I used to dislike them but it's knock off brother acrylic piled was very good to clean.

Cleaned tons of them ,  I guess because there were so many about  back then we never turned any away, never had any problems. Our record was 30 in one week (all viscose) at the time we charged £75.00 for a 3 piece suite so why would we walk away,. By the time I stopped we charged between £150 and £225 depending on size.

I stopped cleaning suites out of personal choice  just really  did not like it and it was playing havoc with my back but suites it can be a large segment of your business so I would not make a habit of 'walking away' unless you really are not confident to take it on , but at some point you just  have to crack on and get on with it if you want build a worth while business.

How To Clean Dry Clean Only Sofas

Vacuum Sofa
Brush the matted areas particularly on the arm fronts
Spray the solvent directly onto the sofa from a distance of about 30 cm
Agitate in with the tampico brush
Wipe and absorb with a clean terry towel
Leave to dry

Prochem Solvent Base Odour Neutraliser

i would still walk away, Steven has the same amount of experience as me and i wouldnt fancy it..........
