So I have my new RO and I connect it up to the outside tap turn it on and set the flow controller to flow and.....the red waste pipe leaks where it joins RO plumbing..how do these uncouple so I can check the seal....don't want to rag it out through not knowing
-
There should be a little horseshoe type clip, pull it out and disconnect the tube and push it back in and put the horseshoe clip back on.
-
Yes there is a blue clip Slash, does the hose just pull out of the pipe when clip is removed?
-
Yes
-
Take clip out. Where the pipe is pushed in, you need to push that ring hilding the pipe into the unit whikst you pull the pipe out if that makes sense
-
Sorted thanks....pipe was not pushed onto fitting properly......good flow from waste pipe slow flow from blue is that normal?
-
Yes sorry, forgot to mention to push the ring in with your nails or easy removal ;D
It depends on your water pressure and what R0 unit but the waste is normally more than the pure.
-
Its been flushing for 30 minutes now and it's 110 at the tap and 005 at the waste pipe...impressive.
-
5ppm at the waste?? The waste should be higher than the tap tds.
-
Think you might have plumbed it up backwards
-
The flow is about normal sadly. A booster pump should help with that tho
