Hi all
Have been asked to quote for high level cleaning of roof supports, girders etc above a food production hall any advice would be wellcome.

Firstly Mal, you need to find out the cost of hiring any equipment -such as lifters or scaffolding (getting the height of the building exactly right). In all honesty most high level surfaces will only require vacuuming and wet wiping..you need not (and may not ) be able to go to town for chemicals so that should help keep your costs down. And then it's just extension poles etc
I gather the company you are quoting for has told you already whether they require any of your staff to be license holders, ipaf trained , have their safety passport or working at heights qualified, pasma etc etc. That you have done your risk assesment and method statements (incase they ask you after your quote)or rather you will be doing.
Obviously you need to work out how many men and how much you are charging per man hour, whtehr it will be during production, after production (so your timescale slot)...covering up below

Yes and don't forget your T.T.B. AND ISO,ISO AND ISO and you will also need to contact your neerest airport!!

we do high level cleaning,
we have IPAF trained operators, and provide this service wherever it is required across the country
we have nationwide supplier accounts with cherry picker companies, and all relevant plant.
you must do a full site survey prior to quoting, floor loadings, access points, etc, you dont want to be putting a 8 tonne machine on a 4 tonne rated floor.
high level clenaing will not just require a vac and light wipe, depending upon the environmnet in the building, some dirt bakes onto the panels, and lintels.
