Hi lads, I bought my machine roughly 6/7 weeks ago and use it every Saturday all day, and I have been extremely happy with the results and it performed.
Today I was doing my girlfriends mums drive and patio and I noticed quite a big oil leak coming from the glass level indicator on the size of the pump.
Not really sure what I'm suppose to do as I'm clueless with things like this but surely after 2 weeks use this shouldn't happen?
any advice would be great! (http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1466376830_image.jpeg)

Thats just the level sight glass for the gearbox oil. Ring the supplier and get a new one, screw it in and top up the oil. The gearbox is an RS 500
-
So do you mean ring Ben at Rutland pumps?
Or the actually gear box company?
I completely panicked when I seen oil everywere but it seems it's not a big issue
-
Yeah Ben will sort you out

Spoke to Ben and he said he will send one out, problem is I need the machine this Saturday?
Do you reckon I could get a bolt to fit were the sight glass is for one day ? After all it's only a nut with glass on it isn't it?
Also does the gearbox use the same oil as the engine? Or seperate

If the glass itself is not broken/leaking have you tried tightening the nut to see if it stops leaking oil?
Obviously you will have to test it afterwards by running the washer so is under pressure.

The glass has a crack in it mate, and I went to tighten it abit and it cracked more

I would wait and see if the replacement part comes and is fitted in time. Then if not give the customer a call the previous evening and rebook the job in which is no big deal really.
-
I have to say thanks to Ben who sent one out straight away and it arrived yeaterday!
I wouldn't of been able to rebook the jobs easily as I'm fully booked for 4 weeks solid, and I'm on my own so it saved my bacon.

That's what you call customer service...Nice one ;)
