Title: Boar's hair Vs a nylon brush
Post by: Lee Burbidge on June 18, 2016, 12:21:35 am
In this video Steve explains why some use a boar's hair brush head for window cleaning. Used extensively in the US not so in the UK, but I wonder how many actually have tried it?

It's a pig.
Probably get pork scratchins on the glass.

I might check that out. I got a couple jobs I might just test boar's hair out on. Im guessing super slow on rinsing off.

I've got, among my large collection, the Tecbuk full boar  :D
Is quite grippy on the glass, but makes double quick work of slug trails etc. Excellent scrubbing power. Better than any brush I've had so far for scrubbing. But, due to extra grip, can be a little slower cleaning through the day. Great for first cleans.
As regards the slow rinsing off, it really doesn't matter if you're brush off.

Yes, but IMO there are far too few of the inner boars hair bristles to make a real difference. It would help a little if there was not an extra set of jet holes, especially as the brush is quite narrow to start with.

Yeah, I totally agree with you there.
