I have to agree

43 so far today and there are 2 hours left before I go home!

In fact that makes today the best day we have ever had! Friday last week is now the second best day we had with 39

That’s between how many vans and workers exactly?
How many of those did you do yourself as I thought you sat on yer arse in the office all day long?

I dont really understand your question smuf?

To be clear, myself and the 2 people that work with me in the office have taken on 47 new houses today and added them to our rounds on cleaner planner. So yes, I was in fact sitting down while this was happening

Oh I see silly me.

Not being funny but with your current leaflet campaign costing thousands I would be expecting more bookings than that myself.

are you saying upwards of 200 houses a week isnt a good return?

So if I spend £100k on marketing and add say £500k anually you dont think thats good?

For the Surrey area, that's quite low?

it really doesn't matter as long as our vans average the same turnover each day across the month
Title: Re: Rain

"This time next year Rodeny, we'll be millionaires!"  ;D

Just a thought...They say the ones that make all the money don't need to brag.
Title: Re: Rain

What point do you think I was bragging. I simply shared yesterdays result and answered a few intelligent questions. I would say that is not bragging.

What is each vans daily target/achieved turnover?

I see the issue/problem here. Its symptomatic of Lee's attendance on this forum.

The post was started by Tom - but somewhere along the line it became all about Lee, my guess is at about this point

Matt that may be right but is it my fault? Every time I make any comment it starts. People start asking questions about what I'm doing then others start making crappy comments and so it goes on.

I don't think I will share what our vans turnover is thanks.  If I do I will only be called a liar or something like that.
Title: Re: Rain
Post by: 8weekly on June 01, 2016, 02:44:58 pm
The thing is that wanting to share excitement and pride tends to be interpreted as bragging on here. Add to that the fact that Lee always reacts badly to it and it just deteriorates.

That is true. But also salesmen like to talk about themselves, their business etc..

How many jobs per day on average does one guy in a van do a day?

Tom if he does the average which is 25 houses a day at his £23 average then  around £575 per day, although this is Lee so im guessing add a few more hundred on the day with an extra 10 houses so at a guess his guys hit between £575 and £775 per day.

That is very true Dazmondo! I was comparing to confirm my own thoughts really, not compare my business against someone else's.

The average is 25 houses one guy working on his own?

Two of us did 22 houses yesterday and 19 today. Today's work involved a bit of driving, this will change though.

Mick specialises in fronts only. 25 a day for one guy seems a lot to me unless compact and basic semis. Saying that there's a guy on Facebook reckons he "smashes out" 35 a day. In general i reckon they are £5 houses as he doesn't seem to have two pennies to rub together. 😄
