Squeak and Bubbles have had Lisa contact them about her carpets.

Hi Darran
It's domestic. I've used a rug doctor and the carpets really smell musty. It's 3 bedrooms, hallway, landing, living and dining room. It's a house in horsforth with on/off street parking.

We had another call yesterday, this time from a letting agent. Said that there carpet cleaner had cleaned some carpets in an empty property on MONDAY. Went to inspect it yesterday and the carpets were soaked and stink! They have been trying to contact the carpet cleaner but no response. Said he was using the rug doctor...
Asked how much he was charging, they replied £50 for 4 carpets.... I told him all I can offer is to extract and put some blowers on the carpets, but will not be held responsible if any damage has occurred (after explaining to him what might happen) from the previous carpet cleaner. Give him my price for the works, replied can you give us discount if we give you more properties... I just laughed and hung up. Not sure out of the agent or carpet cleaner who was the idiot...

I would send these sort of photos to all the estate agents in my area with my business details if I was a carpet cleaner

Don't understand why you laughed and hung up, surely there was a conversation to be had there.

Not for me... far too busy to even go into more details with him. Not a lover of letting agents, have a few that we work for, but they pay full whack for carpet cleaning. Don't want to have all my eggs in one basket.
