Mark, The plastic seems a wee bit flimsy to me and the cabinet does not look like it's insulated either. Apart from that it seems a good idea that's if you don't use a static ro/di set up then you would not need one in the van.

Hi Smurf,

Thank you for your feedback smurf.

This video shows a "technology preview" of the very first cabinet - the production models will have a stronger lid as we also felt that the plastic front needed to be stronger. The product has been designed and tested to be very robust - hence why we didn't choose perspect or a plastic that can easily crack. This has been specifically moulded for the task.

Our new static systems will also have the option of this for customers where the static system is located in a non heated location .

I'm sure you copied the idea from someone else though as the chap in question makes bespoke insulated cabinets, tanks etc.  ::)roll

Hi Smurf,

We have had this product in development and testing for the last 2 1/2 years.

We prefer to innovate than copy, as this helps move the industry forward.

I think H Man made one in 1990 out of a cardboard box and zip ties.

People have been using insulated cabinets to protect ro/di's for yonks so is nothing new really.

Still like you say if you can produce a good product at a reasonable price then fair play to  you.

Cardboard is actually a good insulator ask any homeless person. I found it’s not great when it gets wet though.

For outside ro/di setup it's easy to knock up and insulated cabinet as damo in this vid shows.
Same can be done for a larger static 4040 ro/di setup too. Wfp cleaners with outside statics have been doing this  for years.
