Title: Altro floor cleaning
Post by: Martin Lane on May 18, 2016, 02:52:17 pm
Hi all
I have a large school contract  that we clean daily and deep clean the floors every end of term,
some floors in the building have altro safety flooring, light grey
over the years we have used floor stripper Altro 44 cleaner, they all clean the floor but is there something  else I can use to get really good results.

Cheers
Martin

Tilemaster no 3 and LTP Grimex both work well.

Martin - did you mean you use a floor stripper AND Altro 44 for maintenance or cleaning lightly soiled area - I equipped with the pads and A44 that Altro recommend and they were worse than useless imo - altho tbf it was a very old floor with very little expectation of an outstanding result and I had discussed with customer and pre-qualified results - got a lot of dirt off the floor but still looked pretty poor after a frustrationg morning with the Altro products which imo are fine for maintenance but not for remedial work or salvage type situation - I was recommended to use Selden products (by a prochem agent) which I have found reliable

Hi

What works for us is degreaser with  melamine pads. Pads don't last too long but work perfect for periodical cleans to lift the look of the floor.
