The concentrated flash in a squeezy bottle is an excellent all round cleaner.
I have 5 con roofs to clean over the next couple of weeks, a couple are really dirty, so been playing round with different chemicals.
Flash in a backpack with pure gets excellent results, removes grime easily, even easier then virasol ubik etc.
Tried some flash in a bottle with pure and a dash of descaler, sprayed on some dull stained sills today, came up really nice.
Also a dollop in trad bucket with my normal chemical ( window cleaning warehouse pure shine) and trad results are excellent, dirt and grease melts away.
Most of these chemicals, ubik, virasol, tfr etc are not all their cracked up to be.
Good old fashioned flash and cif cream are the 2 best cleaners for f/s/g and con roofs and are cheaper and more accessible.
Flash does the cleaning, cif removes almost all staining.

I've been using Flash for years and sometimes mix it with a dollop of Ecover if I need it thicker for applying to FSG.
I also add a trickle into my trad bucket with Ecover which works well.
Damn it the secrets out.... :o

You could of shared your secret sooner so I wouldn't have wasted all that £££ on crap chemicals ;D

Why not dilute it with water then sell it on here as magic flash conservatory cleaner?

I often use flash (lemon concentrated gel) as it works well on f/s/g and conservatory roofs.
Dollop of flash and pure water in a bucket. Dunk a cobweb brush in it, brush on, let sit, rinse and/or microfibre off and jobs a good un ;D

It's on offer in Tesco, at the moment. I went in for something today, saw it and decided to try some on some trad work.
It was ok and not too suddy, which suits me. I used some Viakal and Ecover washing up liquid with it too but the Flash meant I needed less Ecover, so fewer suds.
It's the same with the Viakal (which I've used for a while), it leaves a good shine and seems to kill excess suds.
If you need some suds add a bit of the neat(ish) mixture to the applicator.
I might get some more.

Bloody hell Griff.......
do you have room for water in the bucket too??
;D ;D

Not a lot, H. Hahaha. I have to use outside taps.
I'm trying to make work easier but it ends up even more complicated than before!

how much flash would you put in a backpack then & would that not dilute it too much for it to be effective & could you mix flash & cif in a backpack, i've just got a new brush especially for fsg & connys with very powerful, wide spray, fan jets , which did cut down the time on the 2 jobs i've done , i use virosol & i'm not convinced it makes a big difference
-
Sorry for asking but why would you want to mix cif cream cleaner with flash in a backpack?
Cif cream cleaner is supposed to be used neat on a cloth, magic eraser or sponge not sprayed on diluted as would be ineffective surely? Not only that cif cream being a very fine abrasive may knacker a pump too.

lol ask away, i read that chris turner had tried flash in a backpack, then he put this 'Flash does the cleaning, cif removes almost all staining'. so i wasn't sure if he'd tried them together in a backpack, the cif didn't sound likely but you never know & i've just cleaned the inside of my mums kitchen, all window frames etc with flash & it was minging but the flash did a brilliant job so i'm gonna try that my next conny job but how much too a backpack ?
-
Oh I see now... ;D
Maybe he just meant to use one of these to spray on bad bits by hand or if out of reach using a pad/brush on a pole?

I would just mix a good dollop of flash lemon concentrate into your backpack and see how it goes.
I've found mixing flash concentrate gel with warm/hottish water helps with the cleaning power too.
It's also cheap as chips too as one 400 ml bottle will do quite a few fsg and conny cleans http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=278213927&gclid=COn5nbi47swCFdZAGwodfNYNFw&gclsrc=aw.ds

thats the stuff my mum had, her kitchen was shocking cos my lad lives there & he's been on his own all week lol so it needed something drastic before she got back & that stuff did a great job, i've got a conny job soon so i'll try that in a backpack
-
Tried Halfords -10c screenwash with small amount of washing up liquid over winter in bucket works a treat

One or two good squirts into a backpack does the job.
Like g Griffen i noticed it on a deal in tesco so thought I'd give it a try, glad I did.
Cif can be squirted straight on the brush for extra cleaning power on top of the flash, plus it's great on a cloth for cleaning the edges of con roofs and removing stubborn stains.
-
Mixed it with UBIK 2000 in pump spray for FSG clean well worth trying give it a nice boost.

Alright so it was Cif floor cleaner coz that's just what the mrs had in the cupboard under the sink at the time.
But Cif/Flash all the same. ;)
-
Hate the smell of Flash original so tried the one with fabreeze much better smell and just as good
-
I would be very wary of using Cif on glass, as previously stated it is abrasive. I will try Flash for fsg and windows. Thanks for the tip
-
I tried it for washing the pots but I decided it wasn't a good idea.
It was just a Flash in the pan.

I bet your hands are as soft as your face. Do you have a bath without scratching?
-
We don't have a bath, only a shower.
But we use only use it to store the lawnmower in.
-
All Ivery used is an all purpose cleaner. I started with autosmart g101 and now just use undiluted asda smart price APC for upvc

I've just learnt something new by reading the description again http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=278213927&gclid=COn5nbi47swCFdZAGwodfNYNFw&gclsrc=aw.ds
"Accurate dosing control and value for money with its auto-stop dosing cap
1 firm squeeze = 1 recommended dosage to clean your floors"
I did wonder why the cap was so big and now I know why ;D ;D
