Just set up my 4040 for first time, the pressure keeps blowing off one end of the 4040 cap, i have used clamps provided, did the bolts up as tight as possible but pressure keeps blowing one end, any ideas anyone

I would check you have the water flowing in at the correct end and direction.
Are you talking about the white Spring clamp with a gap ? If so and the way connections are correct then the end cap may not be pushed fully home

cheers vin, yea seen this video already, is helpfull

If it's still blowing, my first suspicion would be that your waste valve is shut or blocked or the pipe after is blocked or kinked - that's the link in the system that would lead most obviously to high pressure inside the vessel.

If you are using hozelock style fittings it could be a worn rubber seal on the male side?
-
Finally, is the membrane in the correct way (as per the video)? The black sealing ring needs to be at the correct end.

Are those V shaped metal clamps working correctly or are they bent/damaged?
