Hi I'm thinking of buying this machine What do you guys think of it
How much hose can you run from it ?
-
my first machine was a pro, in its basic 135 psi form... it was a grat machine and never let me down once. I see now you can upgrade the pro to higher psi which is what i would do. The one i had was great at 25 foot, good at 50 foot, i dont think id use it at more than that..... I now have a storm which is awesome, and also is currently on offer on their website............ the difference between the pro and the storm is well worth paying out for............. i basically use mine from the van now all the time........

Thanks for your reply Tim yes the storm looks to be a lovely bit of kit I was just thinking of the pro at half the money

I had a pro before getting storm but I would say ok for 75ft of hoses. Which is plenty for most jobs.
But try to up grade to 200psi or 400 psi.

Thanks Sean I see they do a 220 for a extra £100 or a 400 for a extra £400 do you think the 400 is worth the extra over the 220

Yes, If I was buying again I would go for 600 psi. 400 psi is a quantum leaf from 220 psi.

With al the add ons might be better getting a storm from the start
-
I wouldn't clean carpets above 300psi so if your not planning to go into hard floors 400psi is plenty.
Storm will give you better suction but you probably wouldn't notice until you went over 75ft of hose.
I haven't gone above 75ft of hoses in about 18 months

Thanks for that Sean that's made things a lot clearer
-
i have a basic pro ive used it a couple times at 75ft and it was fine i also have a booster to plug in if i want not used it though defo go for a bigger pump though ... if i could afford it id get a storm so the power is there for if i ever need it like on a hotel or oap home

Thanks Boldy I think that if I have to buy a new one it will be the 600 that seems to tick all the boxes wil try to get a secondhand one first though

We may be able to help we have a couple for sale

I have a pro custom 400psi with parallel motors. Most of my jobs are on 50ft 2" hose and performs very well. Have added 25ft 1.5" and it's drops off a little. I have 100ft 2 inch now and a booster pod but I've never needed more then 75ft tbh

A lot of people worry about what the psi of their machine is. Ok, 135psi is somewhat on the low side for carpet cleaning but what is far more of interest is the vacuum ability of your machine. After all it's the sludge you've created from your prespray and rinse that needs to be as near as 100% extracted. Crap vac power on your machine and you'll be leaving half of it in the carpet
