Never done thus before. My mate wants his wall cleaned n was going to pressure wash it. Told him it will ruin the roughcast.
My pressure washing work is mainly commercial stuff on warehouse roofs n the odd drive way.
Do you guys just use pump sprayer with sodium hypochlorite mixs n spray n let it settle then rinse off on high flow low pressure?

Is the roughcast walls painted or pebble dashed?
Got any pics?
Threre are a few ways to apply sh on the walls some very cheap and other softwashing set ups can be quite expensive but I would imagine would take forever to do a whole house with a pump up sprayer. Unless it's got viton seals in it would have thought it would also die very quickly too.
Smudger posted a vid in another post on how to get good results and cut down chemical drift using a chepo 12 volt backpack from ebay and a wfp to apply the hypo.

Pebble dashed

If its unpainted pebble dash then that is not going to be the easiest first job even using hypo to try get it looking really clean.
Reason being dirt etc get trapped in all the nooks and crannies and you can't really agitate it with a brush either or the chippings start to come off. You obviously can't use high pressure either and even using tap pressure to rinse the dirt away afterwards you may lose some of the chippings too and there is a good chance not all of the dirt will be removed either.
Good luck with that one bud.
