Title: What set up is best for a two day a week part timer
Post by: Paul erithwc on April 26, 2016, 02:03:30 pm
What set up works best with one full time worker and a two day a week part timer.

At the moment I have a fixed 350ltr system would it be best to add another reel, pump, controller, bigger battery ect or just get a 25 ltr trolley & a 12v 45 ltr per min transfer pump ?

Thanks Paul

350 litres isn't a lot for two people; it might only last a few hours depending on the kind of work you're doing.  I think that's your first problem.

As for the rest, I wouldn't mess about with trolley's; just get another pump, controller and reel.  Just use a splitter on the tank outlet to two different pumps and controllers.

A bigger van/pickup is on the cards for later this year once I  have paid off my wife's new car.

But for now I need to make do with what I have  :'( :'(

Pump reel and pole. And plot your work so those two days they're working near to Base so can refill at lunch. Easy.

backpack on a little fold away trolley?

or get the other worker to trad ground floors while you clean the tops wfp?

i have a 500L tank and use at least 400-450L in  6-7 hour day on my own.so i dont know how you go on with  350L  between 2 of you.i am a high flow, splash and dash wfp window cleaner though. ;D

Another hose reel, pump etc, then maybe use 4 or 6  X 25 litre containers to increase your capacity, just fill your main tank when it gets low.

Thanks for the replys I have spoke to purefreedom and got a price for a complete crash tested system.

I don't feel right employing someone en less a have a crash tested system as my current system is held down by ratchet straps.
