Title: Split water tank

Found a split on the seam of my water tank (plastic). Any idea on a repair.  Thanks

Someone who specialises in car bumper repairs should be able to help as they do plastic welding.

heat ? as in can you use a heat gun or gas blow torch to melt it together

You need to talk to someone with knowledge of tank construction, Be wary though as the damage may be more severe than it looks. The Seam is the point under most pressure and most critical to the integrity of the tank.

Tiger seal.
I used this stuff on my split tank about a year ago. Applied it once and it's still not leaking! I tried bathroom sealant etc first and only ever lasted a week or two. Very good stuff.
