Title: I got hugged today!

This is why I like carpet cleaning.

I showed up at a ladies house today who had a filthy carpet and thought it needed replaced. I cleaned it and when I was done she actually teared up and hugged me.I got a tenner tip too!

Never got hugged cleaning windows!

Ha....... I agree carpets are a lot more satisfying and people are a lot more pleasant. I remember battling through the freezing winter weather trying to get all the work done and knocking on a customers door to be greeted with "oh not you again!"..... makes you want to slit your wrists. The only thing that makes up for that is the money... I lasted 16 years, I cant see myself going back anytime soon.

I like cleaning windows. But I love carpets more.
