Title: Messy
Post by: alex hynds on April 25, 2016, 06:43:48 pm
Had a look at these last week for a regular customer of ours.  Top layer is like latex/rubber with a thick tar like substance then paint on the tile.  I don't really fancy this but sure the experience would be useful.  Have already warned them it's going to be costly.  Any suggestions??
Can we not turn this one into altro alkaline damage please?  It's really dull (http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1461606210_IMG_20160425_21736.jpg)

Thanks Derek I was thinking of Jamie earlier regarding this.  Would it be a job for the grit brushes he sells?

Alex

Absolute doddle to sort.  Miracle Residue Remover or Miracle Epoxy Film Remover.  SIC Brush on your rotary and it should fly off.  Rinse and clean with Miracle Tile  & Stone Cleaner to get rid of the Stripper Residue afterwards.

Kev what grit would you recommend for this? Is it possible and practical to give ss or aluminium floor plates like these above a shiny finish with sc brushes?
Thanks
