E bay is the cheapest I've found

I get yehaa from a local pools supplier at £20 for 20 litre 14-15 %

Cost wise I could probably buy it cheaper and/or in bulk. I'm not that bothered really as is handy just to pick up what I need as is just down the road. Also doing it that way I find I don't need to store loads of hypo about the place either.

Yes - normally around 20 minutes, but it was all clean after around 5, I rinse down to take off any loose stuff

Thanks for that Darran. Do you use any detergent in with that to help it stick to the wall? Is that a dedicated hypo backpack or do you flush it out with pure water?

Yes I use a plain detergent either cherry or bubblegum and give the backpack a wash through after using hypo

Could put some virosol/ubik in it to help I guess.
Any recommendations on a backpack?
And would fan jets be better than pencil jets?

If it goes instantly white and starts to give off a toxic gas then best run like hell whilst holding yer breath  ;D

You just can't sling any old cleaner in with hypo, as many cleaners are caustic or have acidic ingredients in them so as smurf has posted you may get a rather dangerous gas reaction

i use a back pack as well but i use undiloted hypo red lable u dont have to rince as it vaperieses but if its a easy one that melts off strate away then rince with soapy water to get rid of the smell strate away but if its not shifting strate away leve it as it will keep eating the stains

I've found you don't need to use hypo anywhere near that strong on render/painted walls.
That is why I said it was overkill if you do. Not only that there is a risk you could start to strip the paint if used neat.

I used algoclear a couple of years back, it's ok but yehaa does everything I need and my customers want, at a far more cost effective price, I have quats again much cheaper than algo clear

Think I need to start buying yehaa...

My supplier takes back the empties so I don't have to skip them smudger.

The clear containers you could flog on fleebay or just give them away as window cleaners can use them for wfp trolleys amongst other things.

Given away about 30 - local garages take them for waste oil.

Have to plan better for next month when I get busy ....  ;)

Ben from rutland pumps sells a variety of petrol driven or 12 volt chemical pumps that maybe you might be interested in.
