I'm in the middle of sorting mine out , I can't find any cheap P.L.I. that covers you for the property worked on . I just had a renewal quote from simply business and the said il be covered if my ladder falls and smashes a car windscreen or onto a person . Il be covered if I put my fist through a window  ???  And that's just about it for what I'm covered for £5 mill for £95 ,
Gleaming insurance £1 mill , covered for cleaning windows soffits fascias etc chemical damage etc etc etc £180 for the year , think il go with gleaming instead , at least I know I'm covered for everything

I'm with Gleaming. Fortunately I've never had to make a claim but their cover seems to be the best.

I'm also with gleaming and was so glad I had a hicox insurance policy after my little mishap or I would have been nearly 4k out of pocket... Oops!  ;D

Buying is no recommendation  claiming is the only true way to know with these insurance sharks.

It's a simple question if you have the right cover or not and when the crap hits the fan if you know you are covered properly or not.
Normal public liabilty that most brokers sell is not worth jack in my opinion.
