or don`t actually worry about it...!!! stick with your nice, regular paying domestic customers...price high, target the affluent areas and you will probably be earning more than the commercial guts WITHOUT the headaches...there seems to be a definite opinion that you are only a success when you have a commercial round...NO WAY IS THIS TRUE!!

Stick with it you will eventually get some commercial work.
But to be honest domestic for cash flow reasons and loyalty is heck of a lot better.

Look for high end domestics you can't go far wrong with these

Commercial really isn't the holy grail of window cleaning.

Certain sized jobs can earn you very good money indeed, but you also need to be very experienced and understand your market.
It is incredibly easy to get your prices wrong.

I know a man, and he is a regular poster on this forum who earns close to 50k per year doing almost entirely domestic window cleaning.

75 % of my round is scommercial and I don't get close to that income.!!

Learn your trade, build your round and don't be afraid to slap in good prices for domestic work.

It really is a learning curve, and it isn't just about learning how to knock out a standard semi with 10 or 12 windows in 15 minutes (or less) it is also about understanding your market, and that takes time...

Commercial is good, beware don't rely on it because the price is pushed down by undercutting. Build up your domestic aswell they will stick withyou. i wish i had half the commercial work i have lost.i had 13 coop's worth £140 couple hrs work, the bloke cleaning the floors undercut me lost the lot, Gutted
