Post by: nathankaye on April 11, 2016, 12:57:37 am
Curious to know if anyone uses ecover laundry bleach when cleaning fascias or garage doors or soft washing fences? Is it effective as a bleach which is biodegradable and eco friendly?

Any advice welcomed. Cheers chaps

i never use bleach for cleaning anything apart from the toilet! ;D

i use very hot pure water for f/s/g and conny roof cleaning and virosol if their especially filthy.usually very hot water is enough though and speeds the job up without having to mess about with chemicals.

I watched somebody soft wash a fence with a hand held sprayer. Before he could count to 10 the fence seemed to instantly clean and then he used a garden hose to wash off. I got speaking to him and it was neat laundry bleach which i thoughtboh dear for all obvious, plus eco n biodegradable. So wondered if anyone tried ecover as that isnt quite the same and is biodegradable n eco friendly.

Sodium Percarbonate

Makes interesting reading. Wonder if it works on guttering and conservatory roofs? Even fish don't mind it.
