Title: Printer Ink

How do you handle printer ink? i have had a customer today with printer ink...used  Chemspec P.O.G. and rubbing alcohol.  It was a domnestic customer and used  Dynamall- the carpet looked great. Used Dynamall as my pre spray and then some compound, Worked it in with my CRB, The carpet "popped up" and looked great"!

What is your secret when you have to deal with printer ink?

Think you had it pretty much covered with the chemspec product and the isopropyl   , the only other one is acetone that might help in certain situations .
or perhaps u meant how do u handle ink in relation to low moisture cleaning .

Thanks John. First i used my portable spot extractor... then P.O.G....extracted.... and then the rubbing alcohol....i tried both....it was incredible...could not win the "fight"....

Perhaps acetone would have done it .   If that dont work ..  time to use a bit of chemspec  dye-gone oxidizer or similar product .
Even at that you might not win every fight  :)

Thanks John. As you mentioned as my last step i tried Dye Gone but the result did not change.... I have had acetone...but did not try it....will try it on my next printer ink job ;D
