Title: Enforcer vacum motors
Post by: Paul H Coulthard on April 07, 2016, 09:42:42 pm
Hi  I recently  changed my vacum motors in my enforcer machine in the last week  seem as if they don't sound the same and lost a bit of power. Anything I should check on these motors ??

did u fit yourself ?
I would go through the whole vac system from bottom up and check that the motors are properly sealed on their manifolds and that the flex tube connecting the lower and upper motor is not loose or improperly fitted .
Not sure what else it could be ... check that u didnt get two SD motors by mistake , i think ashbys have them marked sd or hd but an amp meter would be needed to rule out a mix up .
I say its likely to be something like the loose connecting tube though .

Ive just pimped up my old Ninja machine with new vacs and pump - i put the vacs in parallel though as i thought it would run my 2 inch hoses better and it pulls really well now.

I didnt use flexi hose for the air intake to the stack - the hose that was on it constricted when you turned the vacs on - i went for more rigid hosing which seems better.

Great little machine now - light for stairs etc but runs 2 inch to 50 foot easily. I nearly bought a Cub but really glad i reconfigured the old back up machine and it has better specs than the single 6.6 machines and still on one cable so only 2 plugs when i use the inline heater with it
