Title: Pick up truck
Post by: Richard Shepherd on April 05, 2016, 10:02:07 pm
I have a Vivaro van that i have had since new in 2007.

Decided it is time for a change and I fancy a pick up, does anyone currently use one? If so what are the pros and cons.

I was thinking of a pick up but to stop thieving scum bags need hard top or empty every night if you have hard top can you reach right to back without climbing in . So went down 4x4 route all depends how much water you need a day

I have a ford ranger with a hard top. Its the super cab version so has a load bed just short of 6 ft. Had a 500 L baffled tank made by aqaueous with room to spare. So that I did not have to climb in the back to fill the tank I cut a hole in the side of the fiberglass hard top and fitted a lockable hatch door. I really like my set up now and much prefer it over my old van.
