I got back from my visit to Ireland and Ulster in the small hours of this morning, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time and trouble to attend our Technical Roadshow at the the Ulster Carpets Castleisland Factory.
The two seminars from Chemspec Europe and The Woolsafe Organisation were very well received, and our host did us proud with both the use of their facilities and catering, and also the excellent tour of their weaving mill.
Hospitality on the Emerald Isle is legendary, and our carpet cleaning colleagues lived upto their reputation. In fact, I feel it's inappropriate now to call them colleagues, I'd like to think of them more as friends :) Thankyou each and everyone.
I would like to pick out a couple of people for the exceptional effort and support they've given us. Firstly, Dr Agnes Zsendai of The Woolsafe Organisation stepped in at the last minute when one of our sponsors had to withdraw due to commercial pressures. Without Woolsafe's support, the event would not have been the success it has. Secondly, our own Mark Roberts. Mark has given us a lot of his time, effort and support in organising this event, and without his help my task would have been much harder. Thankyou Mark.
Hope to see you all again in the not too distant future.
