I've not tried a blower myself but they would come in handy I suppose if you are going to prep the area first quickly before sealing to remove any remaining sand left on the top of them.

I use one before cleaning and after sanding. Saves you no end of time and back ache. Mines a STIHL and I paid £18 for it at an auction, didn't work. Spent an hour cleaning it out and it fired up, never let me down since!

Nice one Andy

Stick to the brush save your money blowers don't work.

I have a blower but I only use it to blow the leaves away. Brush choice is essential for sanding up
-
What is the brush of choice guys. First real job tomorrow. Buzzing for it. Probably have a change of opinion when i come home from head to toe in dirt tho. ;D Just some block paving and garage roof to be done.

I got my last one from Lidl
Can't remember the make but is a very wide broom which is ideal for sanding pavers
-
Same as this one that they sell at screwfix but I have a red one http://www.screwfix.com/p/bulldozer-broom-24/89943?cm_sp=Search-_-SearchRec-_-Area1&_requestid=223333

Much appreciated smurf. We ve got a screwfix in the town will pop in tomorrow morning and get one bought. Cheers.

Best also pick up yourself some safety glasses or face shield as getting grit in your eyes pressure washing block pavers hurts like hell. I know from experience as I've spent hours in the local A&E in agony.

Blowers are great if going be sealing as stops u have joint that have to much sand in the and look horrible when sealled
-
The joints look bad for sure if overfilled. Looks even worse if someone puts sealer on top of them then expect me to go over and sort the mess out. I did say to the old boy after I cleaned his block pavers don't overfill the joints as you only need to fill them below the bevel edges on the blocks. Did he listen NOPE as I had a call from his missus to say the drive now looks a mess after he re-sanded an sealed it ::)roll

I use the bulldozer brooms from screwfix.
