I have the Charly Pads from Solution Glöckner and they advice to use them ONLY ( ::)roll ) with their MS Solutions, because detergent cleaning agents would disturb them...
I used them yesterday with their Solution No.9 for a demo on a heavy traffic lane on a low profile commercial carpet and the result was moderately.
Most of the time i use Encap solutions cause of their additional cleaning characteristics and would like to try the Charly Pads with them.
Do you think i will disturb them with other cleaning agents or is it just the way they try to sell their products with their pads?

There is no real standard detergent definition , could be a wide variety of differing chemicals mixed .
It could be lost in translation a bit but perhaps they mean it will disturb the intended cleaning process which is to use just phosphate (MS) insted of a complex product mix . The philosophy behind it was something to do with preventing resoiling by not having the likes of soap in the mix . But it was conceived years ago and now detergent contain complex synthetic components and never soap .
Its also likely they meant it will disturb them financially if u use another product ;D

Thanks for you reply. I think the pads are running realy smooth on the carpet. I will have a try with them in comparison to a white or tan floorpad.
Normaly i prespray, agitate (on heavy traffic lanes) with my CRB and finish with a cotton or microfiber bonnet.
The idea of MS is ok, but i prefer the benefits of the Encap.
I don't think it would disturb their income when using other cleaning solutions cause its still very common here in germany to clean with ms.
I realy don 't know any other cleaner using different Encaps! Thats why i use them :)

Hi Bernd,
You wont have problems using Encap and Charly pads. We have a number of customers who do this.
In some cases more aggressive pads are also used to improve performance.
Jamie.

Thanks Jamie! Do your customers use the Charly pads with encap solutions in the same way as using with MS? Wring them out and so on...?
And do you know when the Releasit products will be on stock again?

i am getting my first order from Restormate with Dynamall and Omega Profresh.
Will test Dynamall on Saturday on a 250 sq meter commercial short plush carpet. It has many coffee spots and is medium soiled.
What do you recommend? White or tan pads? Microfiber bonnets? I have some Queen bonnets with green scrub stripes, SuperZorbs cotton bonnets or the Charly Pads?
What do you think would give the best result ?

With Dynamall a rotary and brush.

Thanks JandS. For which reason a brush and no bonnet or pad? Do you mean that especially Dynamall needs the agitation with a brush and works best with it? I ask cause many cleaner use a pad or bonnet with encap solutions.

Pads work as well on dirty areas but for speed I just give a good vacuum...spray down and leave for 3 or 4 minutes...then spray down again lightly and brush in.
For clean areas just one application.
Electric sprayers help enormously with this.
I generally mix around 6 litres of rtu at a time so it's always fresh.
