Are you talking about the pre filter (Fiberdyne) ? if thats what your talking about then it has nothing to do with reducing
your tds, it just protects your RO membrane.
You need to check what the tds is before it goes through the resin as your RO membrane might be knackered.

Yes that's the one , membrane is only 1 year old so hopefully it's not that , have you ever used theses filters this is the first time I have

I haven't used them but all they are is the sediment and carbon filter put into one unit, so its very unlikely to be
the problem, like I said you need to check the tds from your RO membrane just to see how high it is going into the resin.
If its low enough then it might be a faulty batch of resin or maybe the vessel.
Open it again just to make sure nothing has come lose and that the water is flowing through all the resin.

Checked the water just after the membrane and it's at 65

If the water coming out ur RO is 65 then adding a pre filter now is a bit late unless the tap water is somewhere above 500, u want about 90% reduction from ur RO.

If u just using one di bottle as well, I changed my resin a few weeks ago and ran water through it that was 53, it took a good 10 mins before it changed the tds to 0

I was thinking dodgy resin but has been fine since
