Title: gardiners sill brush
Post by: johnny bravo on March 08, 2016, 12:20:17 am
need a good sill brush for a lot of houses on round  all with sills,      which is there best sill brush for residential cleaning,   giving there sills a good clean.
we know  sills do leave marks  after clean water has cleaned them, not all  but some.      still need to wipe some after clean.
i can then change back over to the soft hybrid supreme.

I tend to use a gardiner stiff sill brush most of the time manly because I use hot water.
If sills are badly discoloured then I class that as a plastic restoration job so would charge extra.
Above ground floor windows if need be then the ladders come off the van.  Some awkward window sills depending on the config of the openers can be reached from the inside and cleaned which is another option to consider.

Sills shouldn't be that bad to require the use of ladders I didn't go wfp to start using ladders.

How about an xline sill brush for glass and sill and don't bother to change it.,be a lot less hassle.  If your happy changing then gardeners stiff is really good on plastic, not so good on glass with cold water.

I come across window sills now and again that are so bad they have a thick blanket of lichen on them which takes years to grow. Not to mention the frames are generally discoloured too with moss growing in between the glass and seals.  Same can be said for some conservatory roofs and sides. Thoes sorts of jobs needless to say can be a PITA to do.

Too heavy IMO. I don't like to use anything heavier than a superlight. Gardiners medium sill brush is OK.

its just for regular cleans,    most work is Sill LESS,      normally use gardiners supreme soft hybrid,     i have a round where there all Sills.      saves damaging sills with my normal brush,    wiping at angles to get sills wiped over,   they get the odd banh with brush head frame.
i would of got a X-LINE SILL brush ,  i tried to  get one  at there offer price , but they were not interested in that.
ill try a trusted gardiners Sill brush,      i wont know what difference they will do unless i have a go myself.   add to my collection

If it wasnt for my dodgy elbows, I'd use the medium sill brush all the time. I do use it on bungalows and am thinking of going bugalows only.
