Title: faint red dye from jumper on a sofa
Post by: Adam P on March 06, 2016, 09:22:33 pm
i've got a customer whos sat on their light fabric sofa (not sure of fabric type) with a brand new red jumper. the red dye from the jumper has slightly transferred onto the sofa and they've asked me to clean it up. from the photo and what they said it's very faint, but noticeable enough that they want to get it cleaned.

any suggestions what i should try?

the area is fairly small just one armrest and the back rest.

Need info on fabric type, but my first port of call would be  to indirectly test with isopol alcohol first to see if you get a transfer, it may even totally remove it.
