Cleaned two rugs for customer perfect job done on already clean rugs first rug he saysi faded colour next one I darkened it can't really be sure what to say to the guy. One of these either all white spotless house
-
How much did you charge? Often complaints like these are about money disguised as a spurious quality issue.
Simon
-
Did you test products before cleaning.
-
Not about money perfect job imho I actually expected this as have worked for him before with hard to please expectations he was recommended to me via posh shop. The whole house is white if you get the picture I just want happy customers!
-
With respect, it can't have been a perfect job if he has complained about the quality of it.
Simon
-
Fair comment but I am talking about already perfect rugs not needing a clean I may have a photo of one I'll check my photos
-
Can't access photos apparently sorry

Has the guy paid you, or is he refusing to pay you?
-
To be honest if someone is not happy I don't want money if they are genuine which he is and a good guy but he has some sort of ocd with things which unless replaced with new seem impossible to achieve expectations sorry about my grammar just quick phone te xt
-
Well if you're happy you haven't done anything wrong and it's just his ocd then forgo the money and put him on your, don't book again list.

May have to be that Simon although it pains me to say it.
-
You missed all the brown spots on that rug - no wonder he's annoyed!
-
Offer to re-clean while he's there, get him to be specific about what he doesn't like, show him you're doing your utmost.
We offer a no-quibble re-clean within 14 days, even if they've spilt something themselves - so that covers "perfect" results.

simon is quite right, as he generally is............
some folks are just not working for....
-
He's too fussy for a clean in his house needs a takeaway job then questions what has been done just a headache customer really
-
Not supprised he is unhappy , you have caused CB in the cleaning or drying of it.
-
Oh go on then Paul, someone had to ask ,what's CB?
-
Cellulosic Browning
Simon
-
Thanks Simon,
I can see it now.
-
Actually that is a pre clean photo as there is a ripple in the rug that I wanted. To picture to cover myself no CB the post cleanphoto would be just the same look or better.
-
If that's a before picture then, the colour difference is pile movement/ shading.
Customer just needs educating on this.
-
The rugs look as though they are polypropylene. They should clean up well, although there is pile distortion on the one in the picture which would give the impression of dullness. Also if they are polyprop then you would have a hard job removing colour or making them lighter. However CB could be a culprit because of the jute wefts. However that said it should be easy to remove with a decent fibre rinse or a debrowner.

You can't establish anything from a photo - it can look completely different in the flesh
Trying to diagnose a problem from such is just like peeing in the wind
