BBC weather app is useless ;D

Its flippin terrible this weather. Right from November to March so far rain storms and hail. Its a flipping nightmare
-

-
It's as black as Newgate's knocker where I am. Just srarted thunder and lightening too. Another cuppa for me. ;-)
-
Am out but no enjoying it much, rains just gone off but the winds r up, had a bit of snowing in the city centre earlier but definitely working conditions. Just on me last morning job before I go do a job for the afternoon that's mostly indoors or sheltered areas

All weather apps are data from computer generated modelling. That's why they change the forecast so frequently as they do several model runs a day covering about 10 days ahead. It's better to listen to proper weather forecasters who interpret all the data available.

I'm not at work today but my employee is...He phoned me earlier saying it was lashing down with rain and the trees were bending over...My words were crack on ;D
-
It was blue sky with a bit of sun for me from 8:30 - 10:30. Now I'm sitting in the van on a customers drive waiting for the hail to stop :(
-
Managed half an hour. Then all he'll broke loose. Rain then heavy snow and winds. Now it's light rain and slushy. AccuWeather this morn said rain first thing then stop but now it's changed its tune and says rain all day. Another day off then ffs this is getting ridiculous
-
I don't mind rainy days as that is when calls increase from people with overflowing blocked gutters that want them sorting out ASAP. After saying that it's a matter of screwing your loaf as I will work in the rain but draw the line in strong winds, thunder & lightning etc for obvious H&S issues.

I had a good month in February so having a day off at the start of this month is lovely!
-
Just count yourself lucky you are not an employee as you would not have that option and be working outside in all weathers if you wanted to get paid.
-
ive earned the paltry sum of £45-50 today.i worked 9am-10am(it was dry and sunny!) then sat in the van for an hour cos it was windy, sleet, snow and rain.im now home and dry and rescheduled my work for the rest of the week.i could of gone and done a conny roof job thats booked in for tomorrow but i couldnt be bothered TBH! ;D

Full morning done , yeah it hailstoned loads .... On my face. Not on the windows.
-
I have been employed by the Mrs to decorate the hall, stairs, landing and bedroom and there's nothing like it to make you fall in love with window cleaning again. :'(
3 inches of snow first thing and now its bucketing down along with strong winds.

My missus loves snow for some strange reason that I have never figured out why.

Forecast jobs today 13, £340. Actual jobs done so far 2, £65. Im going to give up in a min. Blue sky and sun, then in a blink of an eye freezing cold gales & hail. What i complete waste of time today.
-
Full day done, mainly on internal commercial :)

One guy we did the outsides and also had the inside of the conservatory to do but he didn't want us to because it was raining, but fine to do the outsides..??
12 jobs booked in at £727 including two gutter cleans, all completed and home by 15:30. Did get a bit wet though. Very strange here though as we had a lot of bright sunshine, even driving with my sunglasses on at times.

Woah some big earners on here , I did 8- 4 , 20 jobs in total , took home £100

Had to sack it off for four hours but then went back out. Finished at 4.30pm and got it all done. Went like mad in the morning and smashed it out.

How much do you pay your worker? Are you VAT registered? Does your company turn over £174,480 on an average 48 week year? Do you BS?

How much do you pay your worker? Thats between me and him. Are you VAT registered? No Does your company turn over £174,480 on an average 48 week year? Not yet. Do you BS? No, why would I? I'm just going off of what my planner says what we did today as some else did. I just happened to be home by 15:30 too. Just thought it was quite a good day considering the weather.
