Title: Pricing.
Post by: Blackadder on February 23, 2016, 06:02:48 pm
I know if bugs some people on here when asking for help with pricing a property up, so I apologise but need some help with this one as never gone this big...
It's a five star hotel, 100 rooms with a 3x3 window plus a couple of suites inside and out, plus reception area in and out, and just the outside of downstairs area, pool/spa etc. Looks like a good couple of days work, they obviously wouldn't give me an indication of what they currently pay, for sure I don't want to overprice but also would like to get the job.
I have an rough price in my head but wondered if you guys could give me an idea from those experienced in hotel cleaning?

You can't really get a decent price off a forum, firstly without pictures no one has a clue to the sizes and amount of glass,

If you feel it's 2 days work then charge your hourly rate ( £40 ) by the number of hours 16 ?? ( 8 per day ) then add on 20% for the hassle and other problems that will constantly crop up.

Better overpriced and not get it than under and hate the job ! - don't get sucked in thinking  ooooeeer I've got a prestige job ( make sure it's worth doing cash wise )

Cheers Darran, you're right, I'll go in high and if it poses difficulties, I'll get some help.
