I have no intention of using this product as I'm quite happy using taps.
But for those that use this yanking hose method, be it univalve, aquadapter or any other similar method. Does it wear the pole sections by putting strain on the clamped area?

Used aquadapters for years and never had that problem.
Can't see the uni-valve adding any strain really. Mechanism is pretty smooth.

What about the clips, any chance they could rub on the inside of the pole ?

Aquadaptor put no wear on the pole at all providing you used a long stem in top section, aquatap on the other hand has shown some wear to poles - this has been due to lack of regular cleaning/maintainence by one of the lads and continually using it when it had tightened up the twisting action has caused wear

The valve is always gonna be section one and never gonna move though. Another mod just thought of. Thanks lance.
I'm gonna do a video when I get mine. Seen 3 ideas already.

I would have thought by yanking pole hose you would put strain on each extended section of the pole as you're in essence forcing the pole sections to close up. I know it will be minimal strain each pull, but you'll be doing this action hundreds of times a day

They don't take that much yanking to activate :)

The pulling force to operate an ad was minimal, no more than the force used when pushing the brush up a window and far less strain than cleaning soffits fascia guttering etc...
