Title: Go to product for cleaning hard floors
Post by: derek west on February 13, 2016, 09:40:26 am
So whats everyones got to product for cleaning hard floors?, I have 3 main ones but always interested in other products to try.

For general dirty floors (no seals) i use TFR from restormate, cheap as chips and gets the job done
for dirty floors with a bit of seal left i'm using tilemaster number 3 from cleanspec cumbria
and for floors with a lot of sealer and dirty i use chemspecs heavy duty stripper from cleaning systems UK.

I have a few other products as well but they are my main 3 go to products.

Pretty much what I'm using, except I don't really use tfr much, have got some here though,

But with most vinyl floors I'm using chemspec stripper, it's very good stuff,

I'm going to get some of thos brushes from Cleaning Systems, they look like they'll be a good add on to the kit I've already got

green ones on rough surfaces like trav and york stone are amazing, Jamies bringing some black ones down to the TACCA day for me to have a feel of, probably get some of them as well, not sure about the orange though all thoug saying that, i could see them being amazing on those commercial slate floors that have been sealed and sealed and sealed and sealed, you know the ones, comes off like glue with some nitromoors.

You got a link tadgh to that stuff, will have a look.

Same as you Derek..........................middle one I stick with the Chemspec Natural floor cleaner. The tfr can create foam so if used with my scrubber dryer I need to put defoamer in the tank........not something I have been used to for a while without a portable!

Cooh I love the look of that nuvent stuff spray on and rinse with water once a week good as new. I'm fed up of scraping yellow goo from the baffles and boiling and steaming them.  Can I order some from you Tadgh?

Hi David, yes indeed NuVent is a game changer when it comes to the cleaning and maintenance  of extraction filters and canopies, if you email info@jskcleaning.ie and we can organize your requirements. regards Tadgh

Xtreme Clean from Kevin. Diluted according to results from test patch. Neat as a sealer stripper.

Occasionally Alltec's Acid Cleaner if it looks like limescale, and on some T&G.

There is a reason why specialist manufacturers of Hard Floor Cleaning and Sealing products produce so many different products.  Quite simply they wouldn't bother if one fixed all would they!  A test area should be conducted first.
My first (Or Go to) is

Miracle pH Neutral Tile and Stone Cleaner

HARD FLOORS ARE NOT CARPET
