I found a supplier that stocks the 1800w nilfisk 30t. Except they say the inlet is 38mm. Did someone say there was one that was 51mm? Or can they be adapted?

If it’s intended for gutter vacuuming then to be honest it will not be long before you realise it's underpowered so will want to buy a better vac. Because of the lack of vac power I would not bother changing the inlet size or hose diameter as this will reduce the suction power even further.
-
yes the inlet is 51mm on the 30t,spinaclean sell the hose and cuff for this machine.be careful the newer machines are now 1400w not 1800w.still got the old one-still going strong

I can confirm the outlet is 51mm , the hose supplied with it is 38 mm attached with a reducer .
The old one is 1400 watts ( 1800 was the peak start up watts - they advertise it as 1800 as it sounds better ) .
Have used mine up to 3 stories with out issue .

Thank you smurf and stevon.
Smurf have you used the 30t and a larger vac to compare? I have looked back through posts and I'm wanting to keep this on a budget and avo seems to do ok using it regular. Also finding it been said the big vacs are big and combersome for domestics.
Stevon have you found that the 1800watt nilfisk 30t is frustratingly underpowered? I have been assured that it's the 1800w and if it wasn't it would be going straight back.

Glad to hear 2 of you have found the nilfisk a useful gutter vacuum.
I'm really hoping it's the 1800watt

Does the air flow advertised sound right for the 1800 or 1400?
-
its a good machine & does the job well-ideal if your limited 4 space.ive also got bigger gutter vacs, carnt be bothered humping them around.
-
I have one of these and it works great. If there are large clumps of grass etc I does struggle though. Definatly would go for something more beefy when this one does. What do people recccomend for something more powerful but still a budget vac?
-
titan 30,screw fix-51mm inlet, even better suction and all aluminuim
-
Yes standard 51mm cuff will fit.. the 1800w did me very well and did 100+ jobs with it and still works now in fact. The power is on par with my numatic twin motor vac but the numatic don't ever block at the inlet which sometimes was a problem in the passed with 30t. Everything you buy will have pro's n cons..
30t lightweight easy to store in the van
3000w very powerful but heavy and clubby to move around.

Excellent. I don't have loads of space in the truck and I won't be doing huge amounts of gutters so this should be idea.
52mm poles or 44?
-
I have 44 millimetre but I would suggest going 51 if I was you 👍👍

Can I have a link to the poles please

Turns out the Nilfisk 30t that I got was 1400watt and listed wrong. I could get a full refund or will it be powerful enough. Those that use the 1400watt what do you think??

Totally miss read your post before. That's a bit cheaky of them 😂

i don't think its unusual with electrical goods sadly !
The wattage isn't the main factor with a vac though , you need to look at the actual suction specs as some vacs are much more efficient than others and the nilfisk punches above its a weight .
