Done cream sofa bed today, stains galore, tide marks over the arms etc etc basically filthy.
Used a citrus upholstery product with a detergent in tank made it look a lot better but not perfect.
Customer had borrowed this sofa bed until her furniture arrived and says it was perfect when she got it.
Why is it people abuse things and then expect me to perform magic.

Was it one of our tanned friends?

"Tanned friends"?

What a plank stupid idiot thing to type.
I work for lots of tanned customers and the non-tanned customers are generally far dirtier
Love Jason ( Half tanned )

Iv'e got a tanning shop by me as well. The stuff goes all over the place... ;D

I should have said Asians as I like many have had the odd problem like this with some (as have quite a few on here).............Alan

I have had problems with asians blacks chinese asians and white people, to assume that an issue was due to asians/tanned , shows the level of ignorance held by the writer.
-
I don't clean for many black people usually white people but Asians I do bits of work for but generalising they aren't good customers but they ALWAYS pay, I've had many others not pay but never Asians but they do make you chase for it.
Colour doesn't bother me I just like to work for people who I believe are nice ... And have money.
-
I'm with Shaun on this....had the odd difference of opinion with regards finished article and "just do this while your here" with Asians but I have always got paid at the end of the job.
-
i know what edge2edge was on about, indian/chinese can be very very hard to work for, price is never good enough, even at the completion of the job at an agreed price, they always want more knocking off and they do tend to have very very dirty carpets for whatever reason, im not being rascist, just my experience, i do have a good few asian friends, who would probably agree with me.....probably not the best choice of phrasing, thats all........

I have 'tanned' relatives in my family...
Sure he wasn't been offensive Jason
-
Steven,
If you don't think it's offensive, how about you call one of the members of your family a "tanned friend" and watch the reaction....,then try the same on a "tanned friend" you don't know.
I think you'd be a bit surprised.
-
Fair enough Jennifer when you put it like that.
I was just trying to keep things cool...obviously i wouldnt use that term myself.

No , I am not offended, It is just an ignorant viewpoint to assume such a thing.
All colours races and classes as we all know have dirty scruffy elements, in equal measure.

Agreed mate
-
I am the most prejudiced person I know I'm prejudiced against people who mess me about for payment, don't turn up when I do, want £100 worth of work done for £20 and most of all know it alls who tell me that a stain should come out when there isn't a hope in hell other than that don't care a toss about their origin and anyone who uses that as an issue should be ashamed..
