Its pretty windy out there today but no rain. Should be working but not sure i'll be able to control the brush & water jet. Was just wondering how you guys get on in these conditions. How windy is too windy?
-
I was getting 40 to 50 mile an hour gusts on Monday and yesterday, the water was blowing back onto the glass from the walls and sills plus I don't like leaving beads of water on rubber seals and so on which I was finding impossible not to do because of fighting
to control the brush, so for me that was too much wind.
-
I had to pack it in yesterday lunchtime as well. Blowing a gale & horizontal rain... These lost days ae starting to add up though, my bank manager will be on the phone if im not careful ;D
-
Internal build cleans on 45 apartments this week, will be finished at lunchtime today, priced for the full week x2 men. Not all bad these build cleans.
-
I think I remember reading somewhere that the recommendation is not to use WFP in winds of over 35mph.
-
Luckily no wind down here today as this might have been a tad tricky ;D
Which it was with no wind :o

Those are the short of jobs that come in very handy when the weather is crap for sure.

Shop fronts for me today. Was out earlier. Back home. Brutal working in it. One eye on bucket at all times as it was gonna go for a walk.
-
This will be the second day I've had to take off in January! Not too happy. Lol
It's 70mph here in Scotland, and raining too.

It really isn't Daz. The occasional strong gust but otherwise calm here and I'm literally working 2 miles down the road from you today! ;D

Blowing a gale here on Thorney Island.
The harder the wind blows the faster the windows dry and fewer people will moan about us leaving wet windows.
I knew there was a positive!
