Title: Scorpion pump

Anyone know cheapest place for a pumptec 350 psi variable water pump for a scorpion ? or 500psi?

has the motor gone? can't you get away with just a new head?

Not really sure as havent looked yet as its my brothers machine, there was a burning smell apparently and then tripped the electrics, so suspecting its had it,  its fairly old so probably due for a new one....

Think the heads are nearly the price of a new pump as well............

http://www.carpetcleanersstore.co.uk/  is normally a good bet but he hasnt got any listed on ebay or his website at the moment - maybe worth an email to him as he normally does the 200 psi Pumptecs or the higher psi one's at good prices

woodbridge have the 500psi complete for 350+ vat or the 250psi for 208+

Will the 500 be the same fitting as the 350 do you know ?

I dont know , if not id say it would be just a matter of driling four mounting holes to secure it . Hose fittings should swap over .

Yeah that's what I thought probably worth getting the 500 then.  ..
