When using hypo on mould and algae on drives and footpaths what mix ratio do you use?
Also i read some just apply it and let it do the work and just use a broom but wouldnt the pressure washer do an even better job though? i know run off and spray may be an issue with pressure washer but applying common sense wouldnt it be the best way?
cheers

Benny , their are different methods of cleaning on different hard surfaces to be cleaned .
Depending on what you are trying to remove and the standard you want to achieve.
Hypo has its purpose but its limits too

As Ed has already commented ...
Personally I have it to be most effective after pressure washing, I usually apply at 2 to 1 on surfaces via a 5 litre sprayer - for heavy black spot 50/50 and treat each individual area.

I've found just using 14-15% hypo at 1-1 ratio generally can work extremely well on paving jobs without the need to even use a pressure washer. I would not recommend that you use it on tarmac though.

What would you use on tarmac Smurf.
Purely for my own tarmac drive mainly all down one side next to wall that divides us from next door.

Quants based chem the likes of algoclear pro is better suited for tarmac.
If you ask Kevin Martin on here for advice he may even send you a sample of his new product to try.

Whats the main differences betwen the 2 of them i thought they were very similair although hypo being stronger

The difference is that you don't always need a sledgehammer. Sometimes a pin hammer will do albeit a little slower. Essentially something a little weaker with more time works just as well.

You should know by now I am happy to send samples as long as you pay the postage! Just ring Abi in the morning and she will sort it for you no problem.
