Title: Chemspec High Heat
Post by: Robin Ray on January 10, 2016, 06:09:34 pm
I bought some Chemspec High Heat powder the other day. I was really impressed with the cleaning ability however it seemed to produce a lot of foam. It recommends 1 scoop per 60l for low soiling. I added 3 scoops to approximately 175l  while i was filling. It produced foam in the tank fresh and then produced more foam in use. Is this normal with this product?

Its a very good acid rinse actually. Also has a polymer in it which encapsulates.  But yeah its foamy, make sure you have defoamer in the tank.

No, the powdered versions of F90 and high heat are Alkaline

I suppose like a lot on here I use different rinses depending on the job, if its a dirty man made ill use an alkali based rinse, if its a wool I use liquid high heat, its a great product, no foaming, clogging or blocking and because its acidic it seems to keep your hoses and fittings clear of build up especially after using alkaline rinses.

Why use anything in tank....it barely touches the carpet before it's sucked up.

Surprisingly they work very well. F90 Powder is one of our best sellers and the best selling carpet product in the world I believe. I used this most of the time when I was cleaning and always got excellent results. It works as an encap as well and any remaining dirt which has been encapsulated is vacuumed out on subsequent vacuums.

High heat liquid is acidic and can be used as an encap, formula 90 liquid is an Alkaline product but is non bufferd and thats is why at the right dilution rate is woolsafe approved ! I use a fair bit of f90 powder , one clean and f70 they are all in tank cleaners and give excellent results, for all the sceptics out there you should try them ?

That's what I meant, the liquid high heat is acid. I presumed the op was talking about the liquid version.
